Rocking V Ranch
The Venue is located on Rocking V Ranch; a 135 acre working horse ranch, long known for being the area's top equine facility. Owners' Jerry and Ingrid Vandervort built the ranch over twenty five years ago and have been hosting weddings and numerous other events since the beginning. In 2019, they completed construction of a state of the art, 6000sqft, multi-purpose event center; The Venue, to provide a fun and comfortable atmosphere with all the modern amenities.

The Venue was carefully designed to complement the beauty of the ranch yet maintain it's own identity. Located just minutes from Topeka, you have the best of both worlds; country setting with all the conveniences of the city close by. The Venue has easy paved access to all surrounding major roads and highways.
Elegant Charm
The Venue is a timeless blend of rustic chic décor with elegant charm.
Many of the design elements used were salvaged from a Kansas barn that was built in the 1860s and re-purposed. A common comment by visitors and guests is; "It is so beautiful, it doesn't need any decorating!" However, you are welcome to add your own touches for your special event. We will also provide you with friendly service from planning to completion of your event. Whether it is a wedding, family celebration or a corporate retreat, The Venue can offer you that unique special setting you have been looking for.
